I was born 50 years ago in Abbiategrasso, where I have always lived. My wife Annalisa and my children Marianna and Lorenzo are my family. I grew up on the outskirts, in Castelletto, where my parents Giuseppe and Angela Cristini still live.
I am a Chartered Accountant, with a degree in Business Economics and a specialisation in Finance from Bocconi University, and a degree in Legal Services from the University of Milan. I hold senior positions in listed companies and work with major Italian and international industrial and financial groups.
In 2017 I was elected City Councillor and later became Councillor for Budget, Public Assets and Economic Development of businesses and enterprises. Since 2022 I have been President of the City Council of Abbiategrasso, and I also served as President of the Inter-municipal Transport Council, where for years I have championed the doubling of the Milan–Mortara railway line.
As Councillor for Commerce I managed one of the hardest periods ever faced by local businesses: the pandemic, lockdowns, falling consumption and business closures called for unprecedented economic support. As Councillor for Budget, even in the tightest times, I found room to keep the municipal machine running and to invest in social services, public works, safety and culture.
I believe a public administrator must answer for their work first to their own conscience, and immediately afterwards to the judgement of citizens.
Transparency
Every administrative decision accounted for and verifiable.
Honesty
Answering first to your conscience, then to citizens.
Community
